Originating from a small town south of Boston Massachusetts Chris began photographing in his early teens with a Yashica-D camera. He originally studied beginning photography at Rhode Island School of Design while still in high school and then relocated to New York City to attend and graduate from New York University Tisch School of the Arts for photography. Chris received the Daniel Rosenberg Traveling Fellowship for Photography and spent a few years traveling and photographing in Eastern Europe. His venture into the world of commercial photography was spent learning and working with such as old world masters as Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon, and Paolo Roversi. Chris relocated from New York City and is currently based in Los Angeles California. His work focuses primarily on portraits and fashion images defined by beauty and light. When not shooting Chris enjoys teaching photography and adventuring on two wheels.
